About the Journal

The International Journal of Finance, management and Governance (IJFMG) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, interdisciplinary journal dedicated to advancing global scholarship at the intersection of financial systems, organisational management, and governance practices. IJFMG serves as a platform for academics, professionals, and policymakers to examine and shape the evolving dynamics of global finance, corporate leadership, and institutional governance. By bridging theory and practice, the journal promotes a deeper understanding of how economic policies, managerial strategies, and governance frameworks influence sustainable development and decision-making in both local and international contexts. It is a publication of Word Astra, Southern Europe.

Scope and Mission

IJFMG publishes original research, case studies, theoretical frameworks, and critical reviews on a wide range of topics including corporate finance, investment strategies, risk management, public and private sector governance, leadership development, strategic management, regulatory compliance, economic policy, and sustainability reporting. The journal is committed to disseminating knowledge that is both academically rigorous and practically relevant. Its mission is to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and critical inquiry that address contemporary challenges such as financial inclusion, digital transformation in management, corporate social responsibility, ethical governance, and global economic integration.

Editorial Standards and Access

All submissions to IJFMG undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic excellence, originality, and relevance. As an open-access journal, IJFMG is committed to making knowledge freely available to a global audience while supporting inclusive and equitable access to research. We invite scholars, practitioners, and students to contribute to a growing community that seeks to illuminate how finance, management, and governance drive innovation, development, and societal progress.

 

To ensure an efficient review and publication process, authors are required to follow strictly the guidelines outlined below.

1. Manuscript Submission

  • All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s submission system or via email: submissions@wordastrajournals.com
  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review in any other journal.
  • Each manuscript must be accompanied by a cover letter briefly stating the paper’s significance, originality, and alignment with IJFMG’s scope.

 

2. Manuscript Structure

a. Title Page

Include:

  • Title of the paper (clear, concise, and informative)
  • Full names of all authors
  • Institutional affiliations
  • ORCID iD (optional but encouraged)
  • Corresponding author’s email and phone number

b. Abstract

  • A concise summary of 150–250 words
  • Should clearly state the purpose, methodology, key findings, and conclusion

c. Keywords

  • Provide 4–6 relevant keywords for indexing and search optimization

d. Main Text (Research Articles)

Manuscripts should generally follow the structure below:

  • Introduction
  • Literature Review / Theoretical Framework
  • Methodology
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion and Recommendations
  • References

For review articles, case studies, and conceptual works, authors may adopt alternative headings appropriate to their content.

3. Formatting Requirements

  • Language: Clear and grammatically correct English (British or American), with consistency maintained throughout.
  • Font & Spacing: Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing, fully justified.
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
  • Length: 4,000–5000 words (excluding references and appendices). Longer papers may be considered subject to editorial approval.

4. Referencing Style

  • IJFMG follows the APA 7th edition referencing style.
  • All in-text citations and reference list entries must strictly conform to APA guidelines.
  • References should be arranged alphabetically at the end of the manuscript and cited appropriately in the text.

5. Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be numbered sequentially, titled clearly, and placed within the text close to their first mention.
  • Each table or figure must include a brief descriptive title and source information when adapted from another work.
  • Ensure that graphics are of high quality and readable.

6. Plagiarism and Research Ethics

  • All submissions undergo plagiarism screening using advanced detection software. A similarity score above 15% may lead to immediate rejection.
  • Studies involving human or animal subjects must include proof of ethical approval and informed consent where applicable.
  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.

 

7. Authorship and Acknowledgments

  • Listed authors should be individuals who made substantial scholarly contributions.
  • Contributions such as technical support, funding, or administrative help should be acknowledged separately.
  • Any changes in authorship after submission require written consent from all authors.

8. Peer Review Process

  • IJFMG uses a double-blind peer review system.
  • To ensure anonymity, authors must not include identifying information within the manuscript file.
  • Typically, the review cycle lasts 4–6 weeks.
  • Editorial decisions include accept, minor revisionmajor revision, or reject.

9. Copyright and Licensing

  • Upon acceptance, authors must sign the Copyright Transfer Agreement.
  • IJFMG operates under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, permitting sharing and adaptation with proper attribution.

10.       Article Processing Charge (APC) – 50 USD (or its equivalence).

This covers peer review (double blind), administration, publishing, hosting, indexing, and a copy of the journal.

11.       Indexes/Achieves: Contents of this site are achieved in PKP and Zenedo (DOI agency), Google Scholar, Researchbib
