About the Journal

The Global Journal of Modern Research and Emerging Trends (GJMRET) welcomes high-quality, original submissions that advance knowledge across contemporary research domains and emerging global issues. The journal publishes research articles, review papers, case studies, short communications, and book reviews in multidisciplinary areas spanning arts, science, technology, humanities, social sciences, management, education, allied fields, etc.

To ensure an efficient review and publication process, authors are required to follow strictly the guidelines outlined below.

 

1. Manuscript Submission

  • All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s submission system or via email: submissions@wordastrajournals.com
  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review in any other journal.
  • Each manuscript must be accompanied by a cover letter briefly stating the paper’s significance, originality, and alignment with GJMRET’s scope.

 

2. Manuscript Structure

a. Title Page

Include:

  • Title of the paper (clear, concise, and informative)
  • Full names of all authors
  • Institutional affiliations
  • ORCID iD (optional but encouraged)
  • Corresponding author’s email and phone number

b. Abstract

  • A concise summary of 150–250 words
  • Should clearly state the purpose, methodology, key findings, and conclusion

c. Keywords

  • Provide 4–6 relevant keywords for indexing and search optimization

 

d. Main Text (Research Articles)

Manuscripts should generally follow the structure below:

  • Introduction
  • Literature Review / Theoretical Framework
  • Methodology
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion and Recommendations
  • References

For review articles, case studies, and conceptual works, authors may adopt alternative headings appropriate to their content.

 

3. Formatting Requirements

  • Language: Clear and grammatically correct English (British or American), with consistency maintained throughout.
  • Font & Spacing: Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing, fully justified.
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
  • Length: 4,000–5000 words (excluding references and appendices). Longer papers may be considered subject to editorial approval.

 

4. Referencing Style

  • GJMRET follows the APA 7th edition referencing style.
  • All in-text citations and reference list entries must strictly conform to APA guidelines.
  • References should be arranged alphabetically at the end of the manuscript and cited appropriately in the text.

 

5. Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be numbered sequentially, titled clearly, and placed within the text close to their first mention.
  • Each table or figure must include a brief descriptive title and source information when adapted from another work.
  • Ensure that graphics are of high quality and readable.

 

6. Plagiarism and Research Ethics

  • All submissions undergo plagiarism screening using advanced detection software. A similarity score above 15% may lead to immediate rejection.
  • Studies involving human or animal subjects must include proof of ethical approval and informed consent where applicable.
  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.

 

7. Authorship and Acknowledgments

  • Listed authors should be individuals who made substantial scholarly contributions.
  • Contributions such as technical support, funding, or administrative help should be acknowledged separately.
  • Any changes in authorship after submission require written consent from all authors.

 

8. Peer Review Process

  • GJMRET uses a double-blind peer review system.
  • To ensure anonymity, authors must not include identifying information within the manuscript file.
  • Typically, the review cycle lasts 4–6 weeks.
  • Editorial decisions include accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.

 

9. Copyright and Licensing

  • Upon acceptance, authors must sign the Copyright Transfer Agreement.
  • GJMRET operates under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, permitting sharing and adaptation with proper attribution.

 

10. Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • GJMRET is an open-access journal. A modest APC of 50 USD is required to support administration, peer review, publication, hosting, and indexing.
  • Waivers or reductions may be granted at the discretion of the editorial board, especially for authors from low-income regions.

 

11. Publication Frequency

  • The journal is published quarterly 
  • Accepted papers may be released online as Articles in Press prior to the scheduled issue.
