Welcome to Volume 2, Issue 2 of the Transnational Journal of Arts, Humanities and Sciences (TJAHS), a collection of scholarly works that reflect the growing importance of interdisciplinary inquiry in addressing contemporary social, political, economic, and developmental realities. This edition brings together researchers and scholars whose contributions advance critical discourse across the humanities, communication studies, social sciences, history, governance, and community development.

This issue engages with questions of regional stability, social responsibility, and institutional accountability. The featured studies examine historical liberation struggles, organisational-community relations, governance structures, public communication, and socio-political transformation in African contexts and beyond. Through rigorous research and thoughtful analysis, the contributors offer insightful perspectives on the dynamics of leadership, conflict management, development, and collective responsibility in modern societies.

Particularly noteworthy are discussions surrounding African liberation movements and the enduring significance of regional solidarity in shaping political stability. Equally compelling are studies that interrogate organisational relations with host communities, especially within the Niger Delta region, where issues of dialogue, stakeholder engagement, corporate responsibility, and sustainable peace remain central to national development. These contributions show that the humanities and social sciences are still important for understanding and solving problems in the real world.

The articles published in this volume further underscore the journal’s commitment to promoting empirical scholarship, theoretical advancement, and practical solutions to societal problems. The diversity of perspectives represented in this issue reflects the journal’s transnational outlook and its dedication to fostering intellectual exchange across disciplines and geographical boundaries. We believe that the ideas presented herein will stimulate further research, policy conversations, and constructive engagement among academics, practitioners, and policymakers.

The Editorial Board expresses sincere appreciation to all authors, reviewers, and editorial team members whose dedication made this publication possible. We also thank our readers and research community for their continued trust and support. It is our hope that the studies contained in this edition will contribute meaningfully to scholarly knowledge and inspire sustained inquiry into the pressing issues shaping our societies today
